Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih Segamat Johor (PKKSJ) is a welfare association based in Segamat, Johor, providing residential shelter, care, and rehabilitation support for vulnerable individuals.
Founded in 1995 by Pastor Vincent Teo Chin Wah, PKKSJ has served the community for over 30 years with dedication and compassion.
PKKSJ supports elderly persons, persons with disabilities, bedridden residents, children, teenagers, single mothers, abandoned individuals, low-income persons, and those undergoing recovery and rehabilitation.
Its work is grounded in practical care — safe accommodation, meals, supervision, and structured support — enabling suitable residents to rebuild discipline, confidence, life skills, and work readiness.
柔佛昔加末慈爱社工（PKKSJ）是一家位于柔佛昔加末的福利机构，为弱势群体提供居所、照护与康复支持。
本机构创立于1995年，由张振华牧师创办，至今已有超过30年的服务历史，持续以关怀与责任服务社会。
PKKSJ 的服务对象包括长者、残障人士、卧床病患、儿童、青少年、单亲母亲、被遗弃人士、低收入人士，以及正在接受康复与重建的人士。
PKKSJ 的工作以实际照护为基础，包括安全居所、膳食、监督、基本生活支持，以及有秩序的环境，帮助适合的居民重建纪律、信心、生活技能与工作准备。
此外，机构也提供心理与行为重建服务，为沉迷赌博、吸毒或有心理障碍的人士提供专业辅导与有纪律的生活训练，帮助他们逐步回归正常生活。

PKKSJ was founded in Segamat, Johor in 1995 by Pastor Vincent Teo Chin Wah with a simple but powerful belief — that every life has value, and every person deserves care, dignity, and a second chance.
PKKSJ envisions a future where every vulnerable individual, regardless of background or circumstance, has access to a safe environment, structured support, and meaningful opportunities to rebuild their lives.

PKKSJ’s mission is to provide practical, structured, and compassionate care for vulnerable individuals through safe accommodation, daily support, rehabilitation pathways, and community integration.

Why Build Mercy Village?
为什么要建设慈爱家园？
PKKSJ currently operates across multiple rented houses while caring for over 350 residents with diverse needs. These houses are spread across different locations, creating operational challenges such as limited manpower coverage, difficulty in supervision, and inefficiencies in daily care coordination.
Some of these rented houses are also exposed to risks such as flooding and relocation pressures, making long-term stability uncertain. Frequent movement or adjustments disrupt residents’ routines and affect the consistency of care and rehabilitation.
Mercy Village is designed to address these challenges by consolidating care into purpose-built communities that are safer, more organised, and better equipped to support different resident groups.
More importantly, Mercy Village enables PKKSJ to expand its capacity and long-term impact, with a vision to serve 1,000+ residents in a structured, sustainable, and dignified environment.
目前 PKKSJ 通过多个分散的租赁房屋来照护超过 350 名不同需求的居民。这些房屋分布在不同地点，导致人手调配困难、监督管理不便，以及日常照护协调效率较低。
部分租赁房屋也面临水灾风险或搬迁压力，长期稳定性不足。频繁的搬迁或调整会影响居民的生活规律，也不利于持续性的照护与康复过程。
慈爱家园的规划正是为了解决这些问题，通过集中建设专属的照护社区，打造一个更安全、有秩序、并能针对不同群体提供适切照护的环境。
更重要的是，慈爱家园将让 PKKSJ 有能力扩大服务规模，朝着未来照护 1,000+ 名居民 的目标迈进。
